What the Paint
Splatter Room Is
A black-lit room, a wall you're encouraged to ruin, and as much glow paint as you can throw.
There's no technique to learn and no wrong answer. Splatter it, drip it, spray it, use your hands. Under black light the paint glows hard and the room turns into something between an art studio and a mess you're allowed to make.
You leave with a canvas. Whatever ends up on it is yours.
What's
Included
- 8 glow paint bottles
- Brushes
- A 16x20 canvas to take home
- Coveralls, gloves, and goggles
- 45 minutes
The paint is water-based, so it washes out of most fabrics. It's fluorescent, though, which means a few marks may linger on anything you wear into the room. Dress accordingly.
Bring a
Group
The Paint Splatter Room works as a date night, a birthday, a team thing, or a group of friends who want to make a mess somewhere that isn't their kitchen.
For larger groups, Paint-a-Palooza is a two-hour private event:
- $1,500 Monday-Thursday
- $2,000 Friday-Sunday
- Two hours, private
- 1 to 20 people at a time - larger groups cycle in and out
- Glow-in-the-dark paint bottles, brushes and rollers
- One 16x20 canvas per person to paint and take home
- Coveralls and shoe covers provided
- We hold finished pieces for up to 7 days so they can dry - anything not collected after that is discarded
What to
Wear
Closed-toe shoes, and something you wouldn't mourn. Coveralls and shoe covers do most of the work, but paint finds exposed skin. If your hair is long, tie it back - glow paint in hair takes a few washes to leave.
Is There an
Age Limit?
No. The Black Light Paint Splatter room is open to any age - it's the one thing here that doesn't have a 10-and-up rule.
