Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Minervo, Inc., doing business as Rage Ground ("we," "us," "our"), operates rageground.com and booking.rageground.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our websites, our booking process, and your visit to our venue.

If you have questions, contact us at [email protected] or (213) 801-3993, or write to us at 120 E. 11th St., Los Angeles, CA 90015.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book a session, ask a question, or sign up for our emails, we collect your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, mailing address, and details about your booking — the package you chose, the date and time, and the number of people in your group. If you contact us about a corporate or private event, we also collect whatever you tell us about the event.

Information about other participants

You may add other participants to your booking, including minors. When you do, you are giving us their details, and you confirm that you have their permission, or the authority to act for them, to do so.

Photograph of your ID

The person named on the reservation must provide a photograph of a valid, government-issued photo ID before participating. We record it to verify identity and age, to match the person to the reservation, and for our records. If you do not provide it, you cannot participate.

Your signed agreement

Before participating you sign our Participant Agreement, Release and Assumption of Risk, and accept our terms and conditions. We keep the signed agreement, your electronic signature, the date and time you signed, and the confirmations you gave when you did.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Square. Your card details are entered directly with Square and are never stored on our systems. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, and the amount, but not your card number. We may keep a payment method on file through Square so that damage fees described in our terms can be charged.

Appointments

Our booking calendar runs on Acuity Scheduling, which stores your appointment details on our behalf.

Marketing emails

If you ask to receive news and promotions, we store your email address and how you have engaged with what we send, so we can tell what people find useful and stop emailing those who don't.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically record your IP address, the type of device and browser you are using, the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, and the site you arrived from. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

To confirm, manage, and provide your booking, and to take payment. To verify your identity and age before you participate. To administer our participation agreement and our terms, including cancellations, rescheduling and damage fees. To answer your enquiries. To send you marketing emails if you have asked for them. To understand how people use our websites so we can improve them. To measure whether our advertising works and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested — including to show ads to people who have previously visited our sites, or to people similar to our customers. To keep our websites and our venue secure, to protect our participants and staff, and to detect misuse.

Cameras and recording at our venue

Our venue is monitored by CCTV cameras. We use the footage for the safety of participants and staff, for security, and to investigate incidents.

Separately, our terms of participation state that participants consent to being photographed and filmed. We do not currently use photographs or video of sessions in our advertising or on social media. If we ever want to, we will ask you separately, rather than relying on that clause.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes above. Some are set by us; others are set by the third parties listed below. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may stop parts of the site from working properly.

Third parties we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the following categories of third parties, for the purposes described:

Advertising and analytics providers

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how our sites are used, Google Ads to advertise, and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to advertise, including through the Meta Pixel on our websites. These providers receive information about your visit — including your IP address, device and browser details, the pages you viewed, and identifiers stored in cookies — and may use it to show our ads to you on other websites and services. Google and Meta may combine this with information they already hold about you.

Payment processors

Square, to take payment and to hold a payment method on file for damage fees.

Scheduling providers

Acuity Scheduling, to manage appointments.

Email service providers

Mautic, our email platform, and ZeptoMail, which delivers our emails.

Hosting and infrastructure providers

Our web host and Cloudflare, which provides content delivery and security.

Professional advisers and authorities

Where we are required by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to investigate an incident at our venue.

Information collected by others across websites

Third parties, including Google and Meta, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our sites. This is how the advertising described above works.

How we respond to browser signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is no agreed industry standard for what this should mean, and our sites do not currently respond to it. To limit advertising cookies, use your browser's cookie controls, or the advertising preference settings Google and Meta each provide.

Your choices

Marketing emails

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Using it removes you from that list. We may still contact you about a booking you have made.

Advertising

You can limit interest-based advertising through your browser and device settings, and through the ad preference tools Google and Meta provide.

Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records — for example, payment records we are required to retain for tax purposes, or a signed participation agreement.

Children and minors

Our rage rooms and car smashing experiences are for ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 need a parent or guardian present, and those under 15 must be supervised.

Where a participant is under 18, a parent or guardian provides their information and signs the participation agreement on their behalf. We collect a minor's name, date of birth and the other details described above for that purpose, from the parent or guardian rather than from the minor.

Our websites, email list and online accounts are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

We are a California business serving customers in the United States. Our websites are not directed at people outside the United States. If you are visiting from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Contact us if you have questions about your information.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date above. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
